In 2016, the Wayne County Council for the Arts, History and Humanities located the Afro-American Sports Hall of Fame & Gallery collection formerly displayed in the old Wayne County Building.
The County Executive facilitated the donation of the collection to the Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History. On April 20th, we hosted an event celebrating the donation and the Hall of Fame's history.
As part of the event preparation, I was tasked with assembling the pre-show onscreen presenation and assisting Rebuild Group with the design of the event program, for which I contributed the copy deck. I also assembled the panel that headlined the evening's presentation.
After the event I edited video of the event (provided by the museum) and posted to YouTube and Wayne County social channels.
